Non-Exclusive License Agreement

The main purpose of purchased song templates is to inspire, create and complete your song idea and make a demo of your song.

  1. With this license agreement you, the purchaser, are granted an ongoing, non-exclusive, commercial, worldwide license to make use of the musical work you’ve selected based on the following terms:

  • You record a vocal or multiple vocals, with lyrics (not just oos and ahhs) on top of the purchased music track.

  • Recorded lyrics must cover over 50% of the music track.

The End Product (derivative work) is defined as the purchased music track combined with the recorded lyrics that meet the afore mentioned criteria.

What you CAN do with the End Product

  • Make unlimited physical copies

  • Sell on itunes, bandcamp, etc

  • Distribute through multi-media

  • Created 1 End Product for a client. The license is then transferred to your client.

  • Edit the music track to fit your work.

  • Use as a performance track in a live or online setting

  • Use as a backing track for your song and upload to YouTube

  • You can only use the Item for lawful purposes.

What you CAN’T do with the End Product

  • You can’t re-distribute the music tracks as stock, in a tool or template, or with source files. You can’t do this with an Item either on its own or bundled with other items (such as an audio compilation), even if you modify the Item. You can’t re-distribute the Item as-is or with superficial modifications. These things are not allowed even if the re-distribution is for free

  • Sell as a performance track of your song

  • You must not permit an end user to extract the Item and use it separately from an End Product

  • You can’t claim trademark or service mark rights over the Item within an End Product.

  • You can’t use the Item in connection with defamatory, obscene or demeaning material

This license can be terminated if you breach it and don’t remedy the breach. If termination happens, you must stop the Allowed Use, which includes no longer making copies of or distributing an End Product until you remove the Item from it.
